The NBL announces the following fee increases effective May 1, 2009

1.  NBL Membership fees - For all new applications and renewals, the fees will increase from $45.00 to $50.00.  This also affects the trial and discounted licenses as follows:

• Trial Membership – 1^st = $30, 2^nd = $20
•  Cruiser w’20” License Fee = $40
• 2^nd Family Member License Fee = $47
•  Additional Family Member License Fee = $45

Renew your license before May 1, 2009 and save $5.00. Contact the NBL or your local track to renew now and save.

2.  Regional races – Entry fees increase from $35 to $40 for all Regional races after May 1, 2009

3.  National Event Pre Races - Entry fees for pre-races at Nationals will increase from $10 to $15 at all Nationals after May 1, 2009.

4.  State Race Caps – The Insurance cap at State Races increases from 75 riders to 150 riders.

New Podium Trophy Program and New Trophy Distribution program

NBL has created a new program to provide incentives for results. Additionally, the NBL has streamlined the awards program so that it minimizes wait times for trophies and plaques

Here is how it works:

Day One:
Will award 1st, 2nd & 3rd place riders the same 36" trophy as we had in the past. The new (Two post/Two post/Single post) 24" trophy will be awarded to all riders placing from 4th thru 8th place.

Day Two:
Day two will be the "molded plastic" style plaques for 1st thru 3rd, with a Wood plaque w/ plate for 4th thru 8th. 
BMX bucks will be awarded 1st=$11, 2nd=$10, 3rd=$9, 4th thru 8th= $7 both days.

NEW!  The trophy ticket system has also been streamlined. NBL will be handing out "Finish Coupons" at the finish line to reduce wait times.  Once you finish your main event, you'll be presented with a 'Trophy Ticket' at the finish line and you can go directly to the trophy line.
